HELP Low on Power

bike runs horrible cruising about 80 with a steady throttle surges back an forth, Slow throttle reponse unless i really accelerate preaty hard. it a 00 stock motor, muzzy ex, pc3,17/48, +6 arm, at the track bike boggs of the line tried low lauches high lauches. seems to be low on midrange power. tryied several different maps all seem to give the same syptoms,even tried a zero map,thought i would see some difference. Need help desprately!!

Unplug the PC and then try it.

Sorry to beat you out on those stick coils yesterday on ebay. I needed one for a spare..... :-)

1st disconnect the powercommander, if it runs normal and makes good power you are fine, probably a defective powercommander. If it runs the same you have another issue. To be sure if I were you I would drain the oil and pull the oilpan off the bike as a precaution. I drained the oil in my bike when it lost power on the dyno, just looking at the oil itself was inconclusive so I sent it out for analysis which came back with a high lead content (bearings) so I pulled the pan and found this lovely sight

It's amazing that just looking at the oil you couldn't really tell 100% there was a problem. Pulled the pan and kaboom there it is!!
