Edbadass vs Shine
A few Friday nights ago, MSP and Shine showed up at our local track to test their shootout bike and a customers 1000. Shines first pass on the 1000 was a 9.09 at 155 mph. On our next pass I ended up lining up with the 1000 not knowing that the guy on the bike couldn't ride. I was pumped and ready to whoop up on this 1000. He ran a 10.50 to my 8.81. On my next pass this guy walked up to me and said we have something for you. So I rolled up to this Busa and I noticed it was shine on a shootout bike. I figured there would be no way that I would beat him even though he told me he was not going to spray. Our track can't handle my bike not along a shootout bike. I cut my best 60 foot time but, wheelied hard in top of first. I was still right next to him we were side by side all the way down the track. He ran an 8.934 to my 8.931. He ended up winning the race by .009 we ended up talking after this race and betting $20.00 that I could not beat him on the 1000 if he sprayed it. We was the first ones in line waiting for the cars to finish. One of the cars oiled down the left lane and they would not let the two bikes run together. I was disappointed because I wanted to take Shines $20.00. I had more fun at the track that night than I have had in a long time.
