New Leathers HELP!!!
I have a question about leathers;
My wife bought me some new leathers and they feel snug. Now in talking to my local shop they say that I want them snug. But when I look at Pictures of some top riders Rickey G. and others it looks as if there leathers look baggy.
So the shop ordered me another set, the next size larger 42 to a 44 and the jacket is a little loose but the pants feel better.
I'm 5'11" and weight 180, My doctor say I need to loose 20lbs (My trisnickerides are to high or some thing like that)
So there my Question... Tight or loose??? Which is better??????

I would say tight you dont want them flapping around in the breeze....

If they feel good to start with you will hate them shortly. They loosen up and will start flapping in the breeze. Cause double vision at speed even. Most guys start out snug and eventually the leathers seem baggy at times. Unless of course you are a growing boy!!

I just recently bought a custom sized DragRace suit from Vanson and told them I wanted a little bigger here and there and they told me the exact comment MadMike stated!!!...I insisted anyway and they gave in after some resistance!!!...Well, I have to say my leathers are roomy and dont look tight at all, but are soo comfortable and that is the key for me!!!...No flapping in the wind either!!!...I never knew a full leather suit can be that comfortable!!!...If you DragRace in 90 degree + heat, then you will definately appreciate the extra room in your leathers, they sure feel tighter when its real hot!!!...If I gained 20lbs. I can still wear them!!!...After spending $1,200.00 they better fit the way I WANT...

No matter what you have, Bill Burns can put some stretch pannels in them if it gets to that! Most likely, your leathers do not have a lot of stretch pannels in the right place! RG's do! I will have a new set in a week or so and I ordered a lot of holes and stretch places!

Sorry for the late reply I was out of town all week and just got back.
I did go with the more snugger leathers and they must have been right I won Saturday night....
