Crotch Rocket, dude, your just a tad off the mark...... You do not need to be a member of AMA, only if your racing in the sportsman/Pro classes. not for street ET. sounds like your gear is cool. it is 50 bucks to race street ET, and 60 for Pro ET, and a Temp Prostar Membership is 20 bucks I believe? one thing to rember is even if you do win the payout in street Sucks! but you get in the magazine, and a cool ass trophy! and you will Only get 2-3 Time Runs in street, then goes into eliminations on Sunday.... it is not like the street guys get any special treatment. actually the opposite of that. we kind of get dogged, but it is very cool getting to see all of the Big Dog's Race and Untill you have seen Larry McBride in person make a sub 6 second pass at 230+mph. you havent seen anything! one other thing make sure your chain guard is on. other then that it is pretty easy going. and I will be there also. so look me up!

I thought that I read that if you run faster than a 9.99 or 120mph that you have to have one piece leathers or some that attach with a zipper. These I dont have. Is this right>?
