I have pics of the installation process. I just did it this past week.
The clutch basket & hub come off, the oil pan comes off, then it's only about 10 minutes after that.
They literally just slide into place. Laying on your back, looking at the tranny, you can hold the shift fork with one hand, while the other slides the shaft out.
There are two shafts. 1 shift fork on one shaft, 2 forks on the other shaft.

Are you saying that the stock shaft flex or something???I don't get it... Lost maybe...

Brocks shift shaft is made out of a different metal than the stockers.
With the stockers, it is possible that they may get a slight bend in them due to abuse or excess torque. This can lead to missed shifts, or popping out of gear.
I don't want to over-imply anything there though. It's not like the stockers are crap, Brocks are just so much.....BETTER!!
Brocks shafts are definitely a little heavier and solid feeling. The metal and preparation used in Brocks shift shaft gives it a 'metal memory' for lack of a better word. So, if you do run into a situation of abuse, or really excessive torque, or some kind of kickback, they will flex for that fraction of a second and then return to normal, perfectly straight. I love that feature! 
They also have a nice black oxide coating on them that will make the shift fork slide on them better than the stockers. Easier sliding shift forks mean a smoother feeling shifter!
Also, the stockers are hollow, Brocks do not appear to be hollow. His are just threaded at one end to ease installation if you need it.
Consider it cheap insurance, especially if you are running a stroker, turbo, drag race a lot, or use nitrous.
