I got Anthony to go too...so we can see what this turbo boooosa will run on the track now 
Im also going to see if Gville will perhaps take my ECTA license in lieu of a 9sec license and let me run all out friday.
usually these races are the most relaxed tech/rule enforcement nights. They dont even ask cars to pop hoods.

No go for me, girlfriend is moving across town. Last weekend the bike was running well on the motor at 1/8th mile, so next Wednesday I'm gonna spray it and try and get some more 8s.
I don't think Gville will let your ECTA license fly. The tech is lax on street legal nights, but the liability is still there.
Report back on Anthony's success - I imagine he's gonna smoke that street tire tho.

It seems the tech has been even worse on wed....buddy of mine and his brother took their new R1 down for some passes.
Were runnin mid 11s at 130ish all night..in jeans :/

pshaa..the traction ends at the 100' mark at jax..you know..where it shifts from asphalt to concrete 
Plus its NHRA double points night there at jax...Id imagine all the bikes are going to get to do is watch the sticky tired cars run over and over.

They're not going to take your ECTA "you'll take one to the jaws license" You stupid fuck! You have to get an NHRA license like everybody else except me cause I can't get in the 9's YET!! But it's coming.Might see ya there brian.

Was a CRAPPY night for me at Jax also 
The ZRX I was supposed to ride wasn't "up to my standards"...LOTS of issues...had to work on the bike before we even left for the track (I HATE!!! haveing to do that...GRRRrrr)
The bike was so "un-fit" to ride that...I decided not to even try
THEN I get to ride the guys OTHER bike (Z-1 DragBike) and the freekin air shifter didn't work...GRRRRRR!!!rrr...
I was so dejected that I didn't even look at the bike after that and...it turns out that the dang-ed wire "fell off" of the air-kill switch...
The owner found THAT out...after he lost the first round because it didn't shift for him either...
NEVER again will I even THINK about going to the track with bikes that are not FOR SURE ready to "run down the track"...BEFORE they are loaded on the trailer...
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!rrr...
BUT THEN!
I got to make a time-run run on John's ZX12 at the end of the night
His MC-tire was shot and I spun REAL BAD (shut-up Mickey Mouse ) so...I aborted the run...sat up and...pulled the front wheel up in first...shifted 2nd & 3rd in the air and went across the finish line at 96.7mph ON THE BACK WHEEL
GEEEZ!!! I LOVE THAT BIKE!!!

Good to see you too brian. Your GF is very nice. I had a good time. I went up in the stands looking for you guys after I loaded my bike but couldn't find any of you.
I sure wish I had a Turbo bike. He was saying how ZX-12's weren't holding up to turbos as their bottom end is not strong enough.I told him I didn't think he was right on that one and then reminded him what kind of bikes won SBS,superbike and none of them were busas.He is using barnett clutch plates and I told him barnett plates are pieces of shit.He said I haven't had any problem with mine and I started to tell him that's cause he launched his bike like a pussy.But I didn't. That bike has so much HP I guess he can just ease off the line!

haha...anthony says alot of things...most of what he regurgitated was what Barry told him while he was down in miami.
He has a lockup clutch so I dont think the plates are all that much of a concern.
I had a good time too...just wish that solenoid didnt die on me :/
