GODDAMN IT, CR, That's rolling! Beats my best of 9.63 w/stock motor & arm and I have a button shifter.

120mph in 1/8 is FLYING!

How do you launch, and how long does yr clutch last?

I started launching at 3500 and have 24 passes on this clutch...

The mph made a big jump since I started the low rpm launches, I get the clutch out and throttle open ASAP, it gets hairy at times...Have to get use to the feel of the bars wanting to rip out of my hands!!!...Ahhh, the feel of Power!!!

All the Busa guys think the 12 is on the Juice, I tell them no and they give me that BS look!!!...The 2002 is so much smoother then the 2000!!!

Real good run CR. 120mph is definitely good stuff, you must have gotten the throttle open more and sooner to get there! Good job!

I've been told (grapevine) that we have some special "BOX" on John's bike LOL...
GREAT #s man...120mph 1/8...you DO have the power
ZX12 is the first (only) bike I've ever ridden that doesn't NEED a shifter to "go quicker"...they just plain shift...UNREAL easy/good...

Thanks guys!!!

What I now realize about the 12 is that it is one fast MF...The only problem is that it takes alot of seat time to make the bike GO FAST!!!...It's all starting to come together now and it sure feels good!!!

Entropy, I didnt sign up for Rickeys school this year, went in 2001!!!...Send me an e-mail before you make your way to NYC and i'll meet up with you guys!!!

Good job CR!!!

Why does my bike weigh 510lbs with a 1/2 a tank of gas? It needs to as I weigh 305 with leathers ,boots, gloves and helmet. 815 total weight me and the bike on the digital scales at gainesville raceway.

Nice job CR. I've only had a couple of track days so far this year. Hoping to get where you are soon. Hit a 9.75 @147 last weekend (1/8 118mph, 1.68 short).

VP Ultimate4, which gives the same bump as NutecS4 as far as I can tell. That pass was actually a slow one (mph-wise). Been over 150 several times (all in the same lane at my track.....makes me wonder). MPH on clean (no mis-shifts) passes varies from 146.5 to 151.9 (on 4 trips to the strip this year so far). All were very good air (no wind though).

Hey all......hit a 9.66 last Sunday. Getting better! About the MPH, I now believe I'm getting a 3-4 mi advantage at times in the left lane at my track. Somethings messed up. Last Sunday, 147 best in the right, 150 in the left. The 147 seems more correct for my weight.

150 and a 9.66 is ......ummmmm. Well, it's obviously full of shit is what it is!!! (if the motor is still 1199cc)

I'm with you, 147 is more true.

Stock motor, stock arm, muzzy/pc, 17t. 205-210 lbs nekkid. I do believe the 147 (as I've run that at another track too). I believe the 150+mph numbers are erroneous. Lot's more in that ET though.

my .02
I have seen 147-149 mph many times and "1" 150 mph.
I know it is possible, with 1199 cc's.
Maybe my track is full of it too, but i doubt it.

Ninja12, I'm sure your trap speeds are correct. I just think MY 150's are "happy" reflectors, because I'm not very light. Regardless, I'm happy with my trap speeds. Bikes making good power. Just need to work on the rider.

Roger, I'd say that getting 147 and 148, weighing 220 with gear on a stock motor is really, really good.
