gee Dan, you don't have a clue who i hang with. In reality i'm a loner, but, i have never even seen a busa without a pipe. At the all bike drags here last summer there were 7 busas and all were modded quite a bit. Only one was quicker than me and one more was real close but he weighs 300 or so. You must have had the fastest stock busa in the country, congratulations. Or you are really full of shit!!!!!

Dan, I think you were at Red River. Your bike is not quite stock if it runs 150...or 9.30

Ok Guys, When I ran 9.70s I had stock pipes, stock airbox, with the BDE clutch mod, 16/40gears, stock swingarm, and lowered.

When I ran the 9.26@150.64 I had, BDE/Hindle pipe, small airbox mod, PCII with Brock's map, MTC inner clutch hub, MCR2 tire, air shifter, 17/45 gears and 6 over arm. The engine is stock bore with stock pistons, stock head, stock throttle bodies.

My quickest times were run at RedRiver raceway at Shreveport, LA. One of the best tracks in the country, flat and is at nearly sealevel.

bkrfstmn, Come to Shreveport and find out if I am full of shit. Just because you have never seen it does not mean it did not happen.
Like I said before, ask RedElk if you don't believe me.
You are right I don't know who you hang with. Please accept my apology for my silly remark.

well with a 6" arm, ...it's a whole different story now isn't it??

btw,....all this nonsense using the word "stock" is sometimes too much to bear. I'm sure we all have a slightly different point of view on that.

Why do you guys find it so hard to beleive I ran a 9.70 with nothing but a one tooth smaller sprocket on the front and lowered. I have seen many Busas and 12s run that good set up the same way. I have also seen guys with $2000 worth of mods run 10.00. I have no reason to BS you guys.

I never ran it before I lowered it.
We made a time trial together at Bristol lasr year. I don't think we ever actually raced against each other.
My best 1/8 time is 6.003
I'm not serious. And I am not the one that suggested someone might be full of shit. Is that a joke to you? Not where I come from.

i'll admit that you are way too fast for me, but if i could find a couple bikes not too far away i would be glad to have a little grudge match. Also, all that i've done is 1 inch lower in rear, strap front, and regear. I have a brother-in-law that lives near Harrison, wheres the closest track from there? I could visit him and bring the scoot to play.

I will let ya know when I make a decision on the TX SO.
You run good times. My next door neighbor has a 12. It's strong as hell.

There are a couple of 1000ft tracks. One in Centerville and one in Presscott. Kinda small outlaw tracks. I like going to Memphis or Shreveport. You should come to the PMRA race on April 12 in OK City. Great race. Great track There will be 5 or 6 of us from Little Rock running in Street ET. Maybe one in Street Bike Shootout. Come on down. They run T&T on Friday night.

Not me. I finally broke down and bought a pipe before going to Maxton last year.
To be honest, it was more fun with the stock pipe 'cause with a pipe, everyone expects you to go fast.
I just hate seeing something so big and ugly....besides myself.
