Billet Big Block? Who is using it
There seems to be so many options on what to do with your 12 engine. This is the problem im faced with. From what I hear the 1290 kit makes the cylinder walls to thin. Using Nitrous is a big NO NO. Egg shaped cylinders?
Ok guys...Spend my money for me. If a guy has 2600 to spend on his 12 and is capable of doing most of the work himself (or so he thinks) what would you do? Speaking of engine mods only. Here is a list of what I already have...Muzzy Ti exhaust, pc3r, 6 over arm, K&N filters (if those are worth the box they came in) MTC multistage lock up clutch, Billet basket and Muzzy Clutch, MC2 tire, Dale Walker Holeshot ps2 i believe. Or is someone interested in buying my bike?...LOL Thanks in advance..Chris

Back to subject
Who is using Muzzys Billet Big block (1317?) Im considering this as a big option. Room for upgrades? For the same money almost you can get a 1361? What to do what to do.

The 1361 would actually be much cheaper than the big block......if I were you, I would put the 1361 kit in the bike. If you clean the head and stuff it should make well over 200 rwhp which is good for 8.99 on a bike like yours with GOOODDDD riding....i would install some carillos when you put the 1361 in. Even with the bad ass lightweight rods you will still be cheaper than the big block by itself. That would be my choice. A reliable stroker motor on a long arm bike would move.....

Sounds AWSOME
1436.....Who put your engine together? Have you had it on a dyno? Do you a pc3r? What other things will a guy have to update to run just the 1317 or 1320 whatever it is? Fuel pump?....Please feed me. What your doing sounds like the way to go. If you would rather please email me at azx12rush@aol.com Thanks.....Chris

i have a 4.6mm stroke with the billet block, gotta love the power; 222hpSAE on Nutec. So damn much torque that I cannot keep the front end down in 1st without slipping the clutch or shortshifting even with a 6"arm. And yes, I am flat down on the tank at launch.
Nice problem to have but after standing it up OVER vertical (say goodbye, mr oil pan), I going to a 10" arm...

Oh and while we are talking about billet blocks. I wonder how the got the water passages in the head since its spose to be a billet block machine from a solid block of aluminum.

1290 I think..... Red 00 with Yellow wheels and NOS. Wiring nightmare from what I saw (wire beast from hell under the side covers!!) The bike used to run at the TXSO in the SBS class.

it was a 1436 he spun a rod bearing a while back. He had the big block, but was only running 8.9s with that and 80 hp worth of wet nitrous...
He has had some bad luck from what Ive heard....

OK, the rods are in too! I'll take a vacation day tomorrow so I can be here when UPS shows up and drop the rods off at the shop. OK, big question. How soon before I can ride again?

WELL??? The MTC PISTONS that are in this kit are...BEEE-U-TI-FUL!!!
Block is PRETTY also but I'm very dis-appointed that there is NO bevel at the bottom to help get the rings into the cylinders!?!?!? oversight??? I don't know but very dis-appointing...there is PLENTY of metal (thickness) for a bevel but...it's machined FLAT on the bottom of the block/bores...
Sorry...I STILL don't have E-mail to send pictures anywhere
I hope to work on that on "my day off"...
