Both Bill's bikes are in play this weekend.
Billy Shoemaker is running HIS new streetbike, got a 253 after a couple shakedown passes.
Bill warner is running his racebike, did a 274 shakedown coming off the gas.
brand new asphalt end to end.
Launching is a traction issue for big hp cars and bikes; i'm 3-4mph down due to going soft on the gas in 1st/2nd gear.
Dead air in the morning, 7-10mph cross/head wind in the afternoon.

Brenda Sue just made her first ever pass on a Busa, spun a lot in 1st gear, forgot where the finish line was and shut down early. Still ran a170 something.

No Ali, it was on Rebecca's stock busa! I made three passes 174.......189......190....made my goal and stopped. Thanks to Ree for letting me throw a leg over hers on Sunday. We had sooooooooooo much fun at this event. The 3 fastest men and 2 fastest girls were all from the TFA FKAWI teams and we also had the 4th fastest guy until Mike Garcia, did a 116 on the Simms bike and knocked Charlie down to 5th.

Was that Busa "stock" as in "showroom stock", or with exhaust and bolt-ons??
How did you like it compared to the 12R?

Brocks pipe baffle pulled out, smart TRE and PC. I plead the 5th on the last question because I really dont know what I like better. Need to ride a bunch more of them both. LOL, I just like to go fast and dont really care what bike it is. I have always been a Kawasaki girl but the busa was tons of fun for sure. And it was faster so I guess .........Dark side it is........
