Jbox issue?. starter circuit
so a week ago at the track with dads 00 12 the starter button didnt activate the starter... it was an intermittent problem at first, then just altogether quit working. the button was doing something as the fuel pump would still run when the button was pushed, but the starter was not getting any signal to do anything. after some quick testing it was determined that we could get the bike running by manually jumping the starter solenoid. so i wired up a rugged toggle switch(all we had on hand) and that got us through the wknd. I actually won the Outlaw class that way :P
today i ripped it apart, traced the wires from the button to the Jbox. everything to the Jbox to the button (black red wire) was fine. however there was no signal coming from the Jbox to the starter solenoid (yellow red) jumping these wires at the jbox allows the starter button to be used normally. so I think ok the box is no good (fuses are fine) I grab my Jbox from my 01 which is the same part number, and expect the bike to fire up with a swap, but the same thing happens. now unless my Jbox died since i had my bike going last Im not sure what is up. I put dads back on and soldered in a fuse holder with a 10amp fuse to jump the wires together. its working this way..... anyone run into anything like this before?

Mine is doing the same thing but I am picking up a cam and a crank sensor code with both being brand new. It won't let the starter engage.
