air shifter kill box with PCv or Bazzaz
I'm considering going to a new PCV or BAZZAZ for auto-tune ,but currently using the the pc3 usb for kill with my air shifter.
What is everyone doing for kill and which tuner ?
I don't want the be the last one to find out that XYZ box don't work with the Bazzaz or
the ABC box don't work with the PCV.

if i'm not mistaken, the pcv has a quickshifter add on. if its the same as the pciiiusb, then you can quickshift while footshifting also. no "box" to wire up. just attach the air cylinder and wire it up to a button. been working for me for a couple years now. its also convenient since you can run out of air, but still quick/foot shift it at the track.

The PC5 does have a quick shifter add on, but I don't want a quick shifter(QS).
I want to use the QS software to to kill for my air shifter.
That's what i'm doing with the pc3 and trying to find out if I can do it with the PCV.

lemme make sure i'm not misunderstanding you. what you're saying is you want it to kill the engine when the air shift is initiated, but you don't want to use the quickshifter module, which kills the engine when any type of shift is initiated. instead just making the pcv think its connected to a qs module.
im 95% sure its doable, just not quite sure how well everything will sync up. how well does it work with the pciiiusb? any issues with timing it together? the reason i went with the qs module and wiring the air solenoid straight to the shift button was so i didn't have to worry about that kind of stuff. (and i'm too lazy to blip the throttle cruising around town)

looked around. and the pcv qs is activated by a simple open/close circuit just like the pciiiusb qs, so it looks like its possible.

the PCV has a shift kill , but it kills the fuel when the connection goes open . I had to use a 5 wire relay . that has both normally open and nomally closed contacts. I used the ground for the air shifter solenoid to activate the solenoid on the 5 wire relay and go from nomally closed to open . Smokin rode the bike with that setup and thought is was fine.
I also have used the shift kill on the SB6 ignition .
I prefer the ignition kill when using nitrous.
