what oiling mods would be needed for a 1530 to survive say 500 + passes between tear downs. as it is I change oil every 2 track days. could be 5 passes per day or 10 after 2 track days I drop the oil.

You need to keep the rod bearing clearances at .0024" and make sure your rods big ends are round.keep the squish at .038"-.042" and piston to valve clearance at ..045"-.050"
Dont go over 16 to 1 CR

Good catch Karl !! That would be the intake. I would go .065-.070" on the exhaust.

These are all safe numbers. One could go less and not have any trouble, but the level of risk increases.
