Brocks sidewinder ZX12

I am not satisfied wih the ground clearance on my ZX12 with a Brocks sidewinder. I would like it to be level with the Koenig oilpan but that means cutting the header. Does anybody have experience with that and how will it affect performance?

I was able to shave a little, and get mine level with the coby pan, shaving a little here and a little there.......

There is a company, that some guys on Psychobike know of, that i have seen get some serious ground clearance ........, but, not sure what that will do to the power delivery.........

Thanks Nox, how much ground clearance did you gain by "shaving" the header? Do you have a picture of it?

When I rode mine in the street to break in the bike, I had raised the end of the Meg up and wrapped a few Hose clamps around the elbow. More than "Raise" the Pipe I would look at pulling it in about .5 to 1 inch by cutting the collector and the elbow and reweld the loops for the springs. (If you are trying to increase Lean Angle)

I think I will keep the Brocks and modify it for better ground clearance. The Brocks pipe just looks so much better!
