second place there was a heads up street bike shootout on the wknd. shortened up the old mans bike from 75 to 71.5 in wb, took off the slicks and mounted my rims with dot rubber(the hook up is kinda pushing it but its dot), swapped shocks, and made a new bracket so i can use a real muffler instead of the meg.
rules:
no bars
dot tires
head lights and tail lights
mufflers
no sliders or auto trans
pretty much anything else goes
in the finals with a little guy on a 14 with a 60 shot. we had problems with electronics and didnt get the nitrous working.
my best motor pass was a 9.04.
the bike has 8s in it as it was bogging and i just ran out of time getting the clutch setup.
pics and vids later
