Well I have followed every post/thread he has been involved in and never saw that there was anything to be worried about....I`m not looking for a LSR bike/motor, just a simple basket case put back together for a once in a while dragstrip race and regular backwoods putt to clean off the tops of the pistons.....I feel a little embarrassed asking for help to build my motor...I have built my share of KZ dragbike motors, but I have never taken a ZX motor out or apart before and feel a little gun shy about it.....Who knows, I might not be able to afford to have someone put this thing back together depending on what it costs....

Well I had a nice talk with Sal.....Everthing is great....He is going to get me back together.....Yesssssss.........Great guy to talk to and might even be able to get my cams degreed and maybe sumpin extra.....Gonna head down there by the end of the week when I get this new/used bottom end in...So he won`t have to deal with anything that the other so called mech. had his hands in....Different cases,crank,rods...This will be all his work.....
Thanks for all the help and info from all of you guys.....Very much appreciated.....

And thanks for the welcome.....Don`t know If I got the nits to go 200 mph or not but I can do some impressive 1/4 mile stuff on a motorcycle and make some people notice the bike......At least Sal will order ALL the RIGHT parts.......He showed me some parts going in someones bike and they were all factory parts and SOME after market stuff,lol.....

I saw your bike today in the flesh, I see my old carbon-fiber step drag seat is working out well for you. Looks nicer than when I sold it to you way back when! lol
That seat has been over 205mph in the mile, I bet you picked up at least 5rwhp just bolting it on. =)
Yeah, no worries with Sal... he pumps out these 12 engines all the time and has it down to a science.

Aaaah excellent....Add another bike to his stable there huh......Getting a bit cramped....
Yes that seat has been a good one for sure.....Since I`m about 6` tall with long legs it puts me in just the right position/tuck so no limbs are hangin out in the breeze.....Love it....And yes some more topend speed,lol....What a cluster f%#k my bike is right now huh.....I hate seeing her like that....Well she`s in good hands though.....

Sal and I did a little figuring and looks like the Ace Performance Stage 2R package if going into my bike.....I found a ZX12 intake cam for the exh. cam.,new rod,crank bearings,rod bolts,cyl. studs,ect.ec t.ect.....Seems to be a pretty good package....Best bang for the buck....Should pick up a couple tenth`s and maybe 10 more mph.....Thanks www.aceperformanceracing.com

Well Sal finally called and my bike is in the staging area to begin the parts list and anything else involved in the rebuilding process.....Can`t believe it,finally.....There were a couple of bikes ahead so I had the wait in line....
