platinum 4 plugs or iridium
i got a friend thats says he can cross referance me some of those high end automotive plugs.who got electrocuted enough 2 help me.im sure someone tried.im sure it wouldnt hurt the engine as long as its the same lenghth.whats so good about iridium plugs anyways besides there so expensive.and should i bump up the heat 4 my bike

all i can say is i replaced the real bad 150,000mi plugs on the saturn i got and it did not really run better. if you are not going to put 40,000 mi on them before changing them i would try autolites. i think the iridium is a hard plug that will not erode fast.
i could be wrong but if you are going to commit to replacing the plugs from time to time or look and regap???

i know quite a few people who have changed their plugs with anywhere from 3-10k miles and picked up good mph at the track.

Iridium plugs are designed to last longer than platinum. That is how car mfgs can go 100k miles without a tune up. I remember back in the day plugs would only last 30k miles.

what i read about iridiums was they handle spark on high compression motors better .. may been a bullshit read from the plug manufacturer but thats what i read ..
