1347/1361 question

Ok, this is an easy one, but, how thick is the "spacer" that is used with a stroker crank?

I was looking at the Muzzy's site and IF it's in the picture, then it looks very thin. On the order of 1/8" maximum.

I was mostly curious how noticeable it is when the bike is all back together.

I thought I had heard that it was easily noticeable, but I've never seen one myself.

Speaking of which, is the 1270 noticeable? Does the cylinder have non-stock markings on it??

Where's Santa when you need him?

All I want is a stroker kit, some fogger nitrous and an adjustable swingarm!!

The 1270 kit is sent out unpainted, just like all the other ones. The billet pieces, as you guessed it, are SHINY!! You can pretty easily match the paint with hi-temp black paint for a "stealth" look. Any casual looker will not notice what you have. A builder will spot it pretty easily.

"ditto" The only real tip off on the stroker is the manual cam chain tensioner.

Why di you think a manual tensioner is better on the 1361?
Has there been problems with the automatic tensioner on the 12?

The spacer is half as thick as the added stroke length.A +4mm stroke would have a 2mm thick spacer.

The automatic tensioner is a little challenged with the stroker motor. The spacer makes things a bit tighter and it difficult to use. So the manual works just fine.

I'm still using the stock tensioner on my stroker with no problems. It's a few clicks out from being bottomed but that isn't a problem. The 2mm spacer is .080 thick. Mine is painted black on the edges so it takes a keen eye to spot it. If you really want to be stealthy, get the Falicon rods that are 2mm shorter than stock and you won't need the block spacer. The paint I used on the block and spacer are made by PJ1. It's a really good match for the stock black.

Screw that! $800 when you can get new rod bolts for your stock rods for under $100 and you're good to go.

I have asked this before but someone has something about it again. A stock 1361 runs what as far as compression with stock rods?

What does it run with Carillo's? The reason I ask is that some people state that the Carillos are a different length than the stockers!!

Hey RAC4IT how much hp are you making with NOS on the stock rods?
