Lean Spikes/Data Logging Question...

I've noticed that after a high speed pass, when the throttle is chopped, the a/f will go out of range lean for a period of time. Sometimes several seconds or more, until I get back in the throttle.

What is the cause of this? Is it due to reversion in the exhaust? It always weirds me out to see those extended lean readings.

completely normal, theres no load so dont worry about melting stuff. the injectors hardly fire when you chop the throttle. every 1/4m pass of mine looks like that
I have added fuel to the 0% tps in the upper rpm range. I was told it helps cool off the pistons after making a huge nitrous pass, it also helps rpm from cutting out if you use an inj signal for the logger. this can also look kinda cool as it will shoot fire out of the pipe if you have it hot enough

These ECU's shut off the injectors when the rpm is above a specific rpm and the throttle is 0%.

No big deal.
