yeah, i posted from my phone right after ran a 9.007 the next run, then had a couple bad runs (9.17, 9.41) from short shifting then hitting the limiter. turned the 2 step up 100 rpm and had some wheelie issues(9.07). turned it back down and was about to try a nitrous pass and my starter wouldnt work(click click click) tried jumping it, but nothing. seasons over, so i have lots of time to see whats wrong.
dad got a 9.16 @144 on his bike first pass yesterday, then had traction issues. the slick is worn out, didnt run today. hes thinking about going to about a 75in wb and ditching the bars.
didnt pull the clutch cover off all wknd

Well, I'm sure it felt good to back up your earlier run. I'm still hoping to get my 8, but I may have a detour at Maxton along the way.

thx. it sure did, a nice smooth run. im still getting used to the bike squatting. feels like the front wheel is 2 feet high when its 2 inches. no wonder i couldnt get anywhere but up before, it was setup way too stiff. and it could go softer yet, tire hasnt rubbed the tail any.

Are you still working with the stock shock??? You still can`t get the front to settle down yet....One more washer maybe or is it your tension springs you have to get right.....I just put an order in at MTC for some Lockup/slider hardware to get my setup to work right.....Aluminum washers,ect.ect.ect......

I'm not opposed to a small stretch for next year, but for now I got certain goals I have to accomplish. I'm so damn ADD that its a struggle not jumping around and making tons of changes. Shane knows...its been so long I miss the strip. Might be a pipe dream but I still want an 8.99 on a stock motor, stock arm....I think I can get into the 9.2s....but 8.9s??!! Ugh..

You might get that 8 with a big shot and perfect 330, though...
