The slider will be just like any other slider, as far as working.......

It is just so much better, as you pay one price, and have so many options to use, vs. the mtc and muzzy versions, that are only a hand operated clutch.......

You will also have to send in the hub.

Kaw shipping messed me up, so I just got the hub to Tim last week. My clutch should be here this week, and i will be testing the second week in Oct after PMRA finals.

Depends.

Not sure.

If I run Super Comp next year, I will run a slider........., but, will test first with a hand operated version, I have tuned on several Gen II types already.

I will probably run in super street again.

I like how they work, and the whole gotta have a slider thing is now a thing of the past, the way these work..........

Wait till I get my hands on one, you have spend your money well, for sure.

I have mine installed and I`m in the setting up part of it....I will have mine setup in slider/hand clutch mode.....I will still be able to release the clutch pressure plate manually if I need to....Talked to Tim on some tips about setup for this mode.....Plus I might race somewhere where sliders aren`t legal, and I will still be able to hand clutch it for tech....The whole package is a sweet looking peice....Excellant workmanship.....
Good luck with yours.....

Thats the way most will want to run it, and you can ride it in the pits, without eatin clutches..., and it passes tech......., if you have a tech.

Since the PMRA event got rained out, I went ahead and put the Hays in today, in multistage mode......

Very nice product......, only thing I really had to do was get the stack height right....., should be interesting.....

Very nice product....., and , GET this, the pull rod is set up to put oil on the outer tip, to help with that issue on the 12. Tim makes a nice product.......

I have Buddy's old one.......

You are talking about the small pin hole right at the outer tip, not the big hole inside that goes in the tranny shaft right.......

Not used.

Tim machines a complete new one.

I sent him a brand new hub, as mine was going to get replaced this year.

Stock anti chatter rings are not used, per Tim's installation instructions. ( I am leery of this) If I start breaking fibers, I am putting them in.......

Testing will tell.

Just got done talking with Paul. He was having issues getting the clutch to disengage........

He had a Muzzy spacer on the bike. It is only 1.125 inches wide he said.

My MTC is 1.5 wide. To my knowledge, those are the only two on the market for the 12. Tim's clutch requires a 1.5" spacer.

So, unless there is other knowledge out there, you will have to call MTC and order the spacer plate for the zx12 to make it work. If you have a Muzzy, sell it.
