zx9r with nitrous
how big can you go on a stock motor safely? a guy wants me to set up nitrous on his bike this winter. i told him 50 wet would probly be the max. he said he would be happy with 40 though(yeah, but for how long right?, its never enough  )

I'm sure we can figure that part out. just need to know the limits of stock pistons and valves

I've got a stock zx9 piston in the shop with a big hole in it from a 90hp setup. He thought it felt rich but he guessed wrong. It had molten aluminum all over the big end of the rod. He sprayed this bike for a quite a while before it gave it up. He said it wasn't running good when he brought it to me. No other damage. It's a zx1000 now. He hasn't used the nitrous on the new motor.

cool, i see no reason why 50 shouldnt be fine if 90 worked for awhile lol
do you know the exact setup of the 90hp kit? timing, octane ect?
