Thanks Dean. I'm still working on my clutch and throttle control, but it's nice see some improvements! This was only my 2nd time to the dragstrip this year...the last one was in April.
The video is helpful. I can definitely hear and see the difference between a 9.0 & 9.1. I'm sure it will take awhile to chip these times down. If I can get consistent 9.0's, I'll be happy (with an occasonal 8.9, of course!).

One thing I need to look into is how to keep the tire from spinning on the rim. The BST is slick. I was running 18 psi, and then increased it to 24. It still moved about 2" or so within 2 passes.
I was very careful to clean up the bead before I inflated the tire. I had heard this might be a concern, and it is.

2.64 gear ratio. Almost a 16/42(2.62) Not bad at all for your weight man. Good job.

Thanks guys. My first pass off the trailer was a new best (9.17), so it took the pressure off. That helped make things easier, for sure. I was pretty much focused on just having fun...you know, the reason we started going to the track to begin with!?!

I don't know the DA. I need to get a little Kestrel meter. The weather report says it was 78 degrees, and I know that it was definitely hotter than that at the track.
But the conditions were not bad...Jason Miller remarked that it wasn't great air. But not too bad at all...
I also had some passes of 125-126 in the 1/8th....and as high as 152 in the 1/4. But my mph was not consistent yesterday, which surprised me. I was using some MR9 and a Brock's map. I need to get some data this week and see how the a/f looks.

Nice job! Man if you had 60ft times in the mid 1.4's you got the 8's. Very nice MPH in both the 1/8th and the 1/4. Great Job!

I just need more practice. I need to shave .05-.10, consistently, off of my 60's. I have only had 38 passes this whole season, unfortunately. Got any tips?
What did it take for you to get into the 8's? When you got in on motor, what were your 60 foots like?
