That's mighty tall gearing isn't it Ali?

I used to run 16/44 Stephen. It helped my wheelbase too.

The lower you gear it, the more easily it will wheelie. The taller it's geared, the more manageable the wheelies are at the expense of more clutch abuse, generally speaking. I"d slap on a 16 up front and give it a go. Make sure you give your clutch sufficient cool down time between rounds so you don't cook it.

a 16 will rub the arm some. go with somewhere around 17 48 - 17 50. you may need to get a couple extra chain links depending on current gearing. stock is 18 46

if you're ona tight budet, the 16t would to just fine as long as it is swapped out for regular street riding. if you want the best of both worlds, you're gonna have to fork out the extra dough and go with scotts suggestion.

I was joking around. 16/44 was great for me on a stock wheelbase.
