zx11 muzzy stroker kit
i need to find someone who knows compression & valve lash specs for a muzzy ZX1100 stroker kit. this kit ups the motor to 1140cc and i dont think muzzy keeps records of there old specs.

The lash specs are the same for any zx11. Compression readings can vary greatly depending cam timing and compression ratio the engine was assembled with. Lots of variables but I'd guess it would have around 200psi. As long as they're fairly even, they should be okay.

I am positive that Doug Meyer knows the answer to this. Give him time to read this and I am sure you will get your answer. He rebuilt my zx11 a few months ago and he worked for Muzzy for years, and besides that he just knows everything.

my zx11 with the 50cc over bore cranked 195psi. the valve lash was loose for a while (about 600mi) at around .011 to .013" i had them at for starters till everything settled in. i then tightened them up to .004 to .006" intake and exhaust and checked the valves usually twice a year to make sure nothing was dropping tooo much. this got me .15 in the 1/4 from sort of real loose to tight.till i tightened the valves i rode it like i was seating the rings with the brake in.
have fun my c model was the best bike till the 12r. i still think if i had my 12r engine in the 92c chassis it would be the best of both worlds.(till i had to stop anyway)

What cams (and timing) are you running? And what pistons? Arias and JE's wee both used on these kits.
Valve lash would be the same a stock, compression can vary between 210 and 240 psi depending on the set up.
Like Brenda said, I just built one for her.....
