MSD rpm switch question
Just wondering how some of yall wired up your shift light swtiches. Are yall using the wiring adapter that Schnitz sells that uses all four coil wires into one? Seems I've heard that some are using the tach wire to trigger it. Tieing into all four coil wires looks like a hassle that I'd rather not do if I don't need to. BTW, if I do need the tach adapter, which coil wire do you use, black or red? TIA

i use a msd rpm switch. it will not read the rpm's from the tach wire, msd requires a single pulse signal and blue wire emits dual pulse. that what i was tould on one of the tech lines. so yes you would have to use the coil adapter. if i remember it is the black, whichever wire color is common on all the coils. Not as hard as it looks
