Thanks folks, I had a great weekend. Chased the tuneup on Saturday, then found it Sunday morning, running 214 and 217 naked, then 223 and 225 with an upper fairing installed, to take the fastest 1000 record at Maxton, and fastest naked 1000 anywhere. Bike ran great, thanks to SM2W, Muzzys, MPS, and Tiger Racing.

Thanks again folks, I'm still floating today...
Scott that's a tank for the water-air intercooler. No heat exchanger, just 2 gallons of volume. I ran it with ambient temp water all day Sunday, and it was barely warm at the end of a run.
I'm going to get a boost controller hooked up, and shoot for 220 naked and 230 faired in May.

You went 225 without a boost controller?

Yeah, a bit sketchy getting through the lower gears to say the least. I hope to pick up a little speed by staying in gears past torque peak.

How are those extensions holding up?

Fine, solid. Most of my passes were pretty hectic this weekend, either missing shifts or spinning, wheelying, the list goes on. Boost control will help, I hope.

Way to go Dean. Lotta stuff packed into a tiny package (looks like you are humping a peanut) and I complain about not enough room on the big bikes. You should be very proud of your accomplishments. Steady progress from a well thought out program. I am sure you will get the 220 which is a very select group. Enjoy your success. LSL

Thanks very much Larry, that means a lot. Humping a peanut! Too funny.
In case anyone missed it, major congratulations are due to the Forstall team - Mark DeLuca ran 227+ on Larry Forstall's ALL-MOTOR Hayabusa this weekend. Steve Knecum built the bike, and also rode a Forstall naked turbo Busa to (repeated) 228+ passes, at only 20psi boost. These guys do not play around.
