Don't know, have not been able to get in touch with Karl since the storm blew through. If he has serious damage or Chevron needs him, I think we will skip this one and hit it in the spring or summer. Praying things are well for Karl and his family.

Is the whole team/family going? If so what will you all be riding? Hope it'll be good weather for you all, cool and a 15 mph tail wind.

Oh GEEZE!!! Keep him away from Todd, the reining pit bike king of Maxton!!!

Todd & I will be there. I'm pretty sure we're throwing my untouched busa in the trailer. The sportster is supposed to come too but her wiring/N2O guts are still laying everywhere from "us" raping her components. lol

Todd is in Bonneville at WOS tuning for SSS. He gets home late Sunday night so that will give us just enough time to wash clothes, throw everything in the trailer and head south!

SSS isn't coming to this meet so we'll have our hands full with tech. I guess the best I can do is hope to get a run or two in. I've still got the fairings on and would like to get a little more seat time & some more runs over 2. I had a record in mind but since I've barely even fired the bike up since the last meet I'm just going to set my sights on trying to make a couple "seat time" passes! I think Todd's just going to wrench on his neglected bike in the pit when he's not teching. Heh, I guess it will be like old times! LOL

Looking forward to seeing y'all and watching SSB shootout.

Debbie

DahMurf, SSB shootout still does not have a nitrous class for you. That's a real shame as I think most of it's readers would be interested in the fastest nitrous bikes, as much as N/A and turbo ones. Don't think it would cost them that much more at all, and might keep things a little more interesting. Maybe next year. You all have a good time and stay safe!

Gary,
Don was asking for input a few months back and the nitrous class was the most popular suggestion. I'm hopeful that they will break it out for next year. We'll have to wait & see. (geeze, I might have to crack open this engine after all! hehehe - Todd will be hatin that! lol)

So have you written off your trip for Sept or are you still waiting to hear?

Geeze I hope things are ok with Karl. :^(

Still not able to get in touch with Karl. I hope he and his family are well. I figure he will probably be too busy just trying to get things back to normal. No worries, we'll see you all sometime soon. If not this year then probably early next year.

I am more worried about looters than the actual storm, but you never know.

If we do not see you all good luck and have fun.

Glad you got it fixed.

We went to the Salts a couple years ago and it's a complete different world. There's so much history there it's unbelievable. All Land Speed folks need to see it sometime.
Good luck Ryan!
