That is about what Velocity Racing did to the Bear ZX14! I also noted the "Muzzy" 4-2-1 Sidewinder that was not made until Brock had Hindle make them first.

Personally I would have made a tank that fit UNDER the frame rails and removed the Cover for Serious getting down low!

The bike is set up for 1/8 mile right now Stuart because of available tracks close by. I will be dropping a stand alone 1530 stroker in it soon for the 1/4, then building this motor for a stage II turbo.

Our first pass and Lee's first time on the bike was a 5.79 @ 122mph @ Shadyside Raceway's 1/8 mile on 87 octane pump regular . Bone stock engine...valve cover never removed, 1500 miles on motor.
Running a minimal cooling system. There is Evans NPG+ in the water jackets to keep the heat from spiking. We warm the motor to one cooling bar, burnout, stage, run, shut off after the traps and tow or coast back. We will have 3 bars showing at that time. Let her sit for 30 minutes and we are ready to go again. We are using an inline automotive fuel pump for a 96 Grand Marquis, works perfectly. The bike is 65" running the Shinko slicks front and rear. We have no wheelie issues at all. Lee is laying down 1.3 60' times, with 3.85 330's. The bike did remarkably well for first time out. I will be massaging it front to back. We all feel there is 3-4 tenths left on the table. Our goal with the stock motor after massaging will be 5.3 - 5.4 @ 136 mph or better. After we attain our goal with the stock motor we will then spray it before moving on to the 1530 stroker, final phase will be a stage 2 turbo.

Yeah, you have a lot left........

We are getting those 330 times with a 240 lb suited rider, on a normal 14, without it being all cut up, with a mild Nox multistage tune up......., with mid .1.4s.........

Sounds like he is bogging the heck out of it past the 60 ft time like most guys do........

60 ft means nothing if 330 does not go with it.........

How much are you bottle feeding it?

Still, unless you are VERY high altitude, something is hurting you bad with those 330s.

Q: your gas tank vent, does it have any special valve on it or is it simply open to the atmosphere?

Okidoki:

the left one ( line with green tape ) is the stock return valve fuel line !! year 00 / 01 use this

the right one (bland line ) is open for the atmosphere

fuel tank holds with the stock fuel pump inside 5,5 litre ==== 1,5 gal ??

next to build ----- drag seat !!!!

can sit ---- 4" - 5" lower !!!!!!! jey,jey,jey
