Aliveagain - cut tank & rearset pegs, body position

Pete here a vid from Maxton showing my position with cut tank and pegs rearset by 5 in.

At the start I am getting adjusted but a lil into the vid i am in pretty much full tuck and there is plenty of room between my knees and elbows; i don't put my chin on the tank until after the lil jog in the track is passed.

And yes, i am being a pussy with the throttle off the line: long arm + lotsa tq = wheelspin, gotta nurse it.

At about 17 sec. is all I'll be allowed to crouch.
I'm thinking of lowering my foot pegs with a home made kit.

I originally made these to see if I would like rear sets before shelling out the money.Flipping them over would lower them the other way.I had a problem with the rear master cylinder hitting the pipe, hence a second hole on one of them.Linkage was made by tapping a piece of stock the same thread as original on the linkage, cutting a metric bolt down and loctite in place.
You said you lenthened the mid pipe on your exhaust. That would give me clearance.Who does that type of work, muffler shop?

i lengthened the midpipe by getting a second midpipe and cutting it down to the point where it allowed setting the peg back about 5". It took some jigging around, but when i got the pieces right, i took em and had em welded.

My Muzzy pipe is Ti, but i used a ss midpipe to cut down (cheaper and easier to weld)

A muffler shop could surely also fab something up.
