you should run stock cams...but both IN cams and "leave out" some material from the ports on the head
does anyone know how much x amount of nitrous affects the compression? for example (numbers totally made up) say a 40 shot made a 12.2 to 1 motor "act like" a 13 to 1 motor.....
since you are running NA, i would think some added compression would be just as relialable as running a small shot of nitrous... how much equals how much? no idea, but i think im on the right track...... and guys run small dry shots all the time with no issues on stock pistons

The higher compression you go, the more it beats the crap out of the bottom end......
until the 14s are chasing me by 3 tenths or somthing stupid, I am not worried about it......
At my home track, I chase them still........
Everyone wants to go fast, but you still have to have a running motor at the end of the day after 8 rounds, and 3 time trials.......
