Gixx1300R- Do you have any ZX14 install pics yet, love the design, are the all the same bar, or are you making different spreads?

Very interested!
Thanks

Bump! I saw your new dual spraybars somewhere else, but now can't find them.

Still looking for install pics on the 14, Bill mentioned a spacer kit or something.
I'm looking to do a second stage for LSR

Thanks for any help!

Yes I have the ZX14 spraybar but I dont have any pics. All of the ones tha I have sold have been for riders out of town. Bill said he would get some pics as soon as he can. I made a 30mm spacer for the ZX12 & ZX14 spraybar that lets it hang down into the airbox to clear the contoured inspection plates on the airbox
The Bore spacings are a little different for each bar. Here are the pics that you were looking for.

That is an old pic. I tested the 1/4 line vs the 1/8 line. There was no flow difference since the nitrous jet is before the line. The 1/4 line is harder to bend without kinking inside the airbox. That is why I went to a 1/8" line.

question...

Are there any measurable gains compared to a fogger system? If I purchased this system, would I see these numbers?

Thanks!

Most guys are seeing a drop from 2-3 tenths on the 1/4 when they switch from a Fan Spray nozzle to my Spraybar. Here is a quote from a customer that purchased my spraybar and installed it in a Busa. Bill was suppose to install it in his ZX14....

"Actualy i sold it!! I had every sum bitch that came in here asking me to install it on their busa. I lost my good help and its the season. I have been sending my customers to to you for the bar but they want me to install anyway so i need to order another one'at least. I don't mind paying full price for it and i will try and make time to install it. When i asked to send me one before it was slow as hell around here.As soon as i recevied it all hell broke lose. I think i have all the additional parts made up that i need to install. The main one being a long bracket that catches the floor of the air box, Either way i tryed to mount it between the access covers put it on an angle that slammed the spray rite into the sides of the throttle bodies. The frame is curved at to much of an angle to get the tubes too align. One things for sure though that bitch works on the busa's. This one dropped customers bike 2 tenths just by swapping his single plastic line i n the box, That was it, same jet and 3% more fuel then the previous nos map. He was one happy fellow,He weighs 255 and has what i call my little motor.Heads and cams, stk bore stk stroke.202 HP motor. All he wanted to do is make a 8 second pass and the bike runs 9.50's every pass on motor with nos 9.15 was best pass until last sunday first pass 8.93 and the kicker was the bike ran 159mph. I pulled the plugs and perfect . You have one hell of a multi port bar here. The wife is holloring dinner time, I'LL call you about ordering some kits an ask about some nos parts.... Bill at cannon......."

Spray Bar

My friend's built 2002 ZX12R that has a spray bar setup that he custom fit. It's not GSX1300Rs spray bar but another members. Anyhow, does it help? Well, we dynoed his bike with the new spray bar with jets from .038 jet to .044.

Here is the comparison of the dual fogger and the spray bar on a bike that makes 195hp NA with 4' advance on pump gas. On NOS we used C16 and retarded ignition by means of Muzzy adj. timing wheel. We also have a Window switch to activate NOS at 6500 rpm and shut off by 11500 rpm, WOT switch, and the rev limit set to 12200 rpm(extended ECU)

.038 jet
Fogger - 52hp gain with 4' retard
Spray Bar - 61hp gain with 8' retard(was to be utilized for the bigger shot and a bit overkill in both cases)

The rest of the jetting was used only with the spray bar.

.042 jet
Spray Bar - 76hp gain

.044 jet
Spray Bar - 88hp gain
PCIII maxed out at 45% fuel @ 100%TP. AFR showing 13.2 to 1. Stock injectors @97% DC. Too lean for our taste so we stopped there.

The bike essentially made over 285hp on a .044 jet.

We were maxed out as far as the injectors would allow as well as what the old PCIII would too. They are stock 330c injectors cleaned and flowed.

If we were to reset the timing to a reasonable 4' retard, there may have been a few more HP.

As far as TQ, we weren't getting TQ #s as for some reason we were having issues getting a tach signal consistently. But by the seat of the pants when just using a 15hp jet was very noticeable with the spray bar as compared to the old foggers. In fact he thought it initially felt like a 25hp jet.

So there you have it. Yes the direct port is better than the fogger as far as HP/TQ. But being limited on adequate fuel supply, going over a 70hp jet is asking for trouble any which way you go IMHO.

That is very close to what I have tested on a 2000 Busa with a 1397 kit. A 36 jet yielded right at 80 hp for a total hp of 279 but the injector maxed out, aftermarket injectors were installed at the bike now has 330 with spray. You actually lose 15 through 20% by fogging the Airbox.

I would also recommend having your injectors cleaned and balanced. They can be off by as much as 10%. Cleaning and balancing the injectors will ensure that all of the cylinders are getting the correct amount of fuel.

Ok look at these spray patterns. Stare and them. Look at the initial cone and dispersal pattern on each nozzle, the concentration of the nitrous. These are not just some random parts that I threw together. Testing, testing and testing was done for about a month before I was satisfied with all of the components working together in concert.

****** All of my Spraybar Kits are now Patented******

Here is where I did the initial testing to find out which nozzles would work the best. Orifice size, length and shape were all tested. The secondary testing was done on a 1397cc Busa
