Rear fender required for dragracing?
Does IHRA require a rear fender for drag racing a motorcycle down their strip?
hardly need it ; just in the way ....
anyone know ?

Fender stock plastic fender, no....., cut it off........
Their idea of fender is more like harley fender........, your undertail plastic counts, if you read it, they are worried all about axle forward, not axle back, for your safety

Yes Nox.. chain guard that extends at least over half the sprocket is all I found reading the racing brochure..

Not sure about IHRA, but NHRA requires a 1/8 inch aluminum guard, or a .060 steel piece.....
I made mine out of 1/8 inch aluminum, cost about 15 bucks, and some time with the table saw, and a polisher......
