Jax Event Today

At the Jax Raceways bracket event today.

Was a blast to be out there with all the bikes...I believe nearly 70 entered the street ET class.

I finished tied for 5th place I suppose. Lost to Kevin in the round before the Semis :/

I bogged out of the hole and wound up running well off my dial in. Hell kevin even tapped on the brakes he was so far in front ~and it was only an 8th mile race~.

Anyway...Losing to him isnt something I mind at all

Was a great turnout with Steve, Rick, Dean, and Kev all making the trip.

Cant wait till the next event on the 21st!

I want a rematch kev

Cool pics YCIS, thanks Rick, Steve. You forgot to mention I walked away from the NO2 Busa and the NO2 Uncle Joe 12r... I pulled my standard 'badlight-breakout' routine in round 2, running a 6.01 on a 6.05 dial Rrrrr

Man it was HOT out there- I drank over a gallon of water yesterday, and was still dehydrated. It's only getting started too - wait til August

Good to see Kevin - he came off the trailer and ran a 6.00, eventually letting off a smidge too much in the semi I think. Got some $ though, had fun I know.

Yes indeed..both you...kevin..and that other Silver 12 from orlando were by far the fastest streetbikes out there.

Going to go to the race on the 21st? Steve said he was up for it...so we should have the trailer and shade again ~thank god~

Man im still freaking roasted even though we had that cover...i dunno how you and kevin survived out there!

I'm pretty sure I'll be at the race on the 21st..maybe with some spray of my own

Scotty is the 12 owner from O'town- he is fast. His GF.com Michelle also races - runs 6.30s on her ZX9r.. not too tough on the eyes either...

hot Hot HOT

Yup...was HOT! fer...SURE...
First time I've seen Brian and Steve race with us...was FUN...and always glad to see them...
Was the most ZX12s I've seen racing away from a ProStar race too

Too bad that "$$$Pretty ZX12$$$" is so slow...been trying to get the owner to let me look at her...HATE seeing that kind of potential go to waist

Wish I didn't have to run you Brian, well...not until the finals anyway but...NEITHER of us had to worry about THAT did we
Was SOOOOOO good to get to race Mean Green again...first time run was 6.050 @119MPH by the way Dean ... second one was 6.049 @119
The guy I lost to only ran .006 over his dial but I SHOULD have won anyway, I had the better light but let off too much...my mistake...

ALMOST finaly got to ride a BUSA too (Al's) but between the 3.5 hours of sleep the night before (installed 1327 in drag bike sat. night for race), the HEAT, and getting there late...it just wasn't meant to be...yet...
LATER!!!

haha...I dont like riding busas at all.

Anthony and I decided to switch bikes last night at jax for the last run of the night.

Here I was thinkin I was going to slip the clutch like the 12...BAAHAHHA...right :/

I let it out and it locks up damn near instantly with this "clunk clunk clunk" sound...I nearly pissed myself thinking I just broke my buddies bike

Eventually I just let the clutch out completely and rolled on the throttle. So with a 200+hp 6" over arm shinko tired 2001 Busa...I maanged a blistering 8.3@103 mph run

Anthony worked me on my own bike with a 7.2@112. However I chalked this up to having to ride an inferior and weaker bike

Its certainly a challenge to ride other peoples bikes!
