Upper limit on a stock arm?
Just wondering what seems to be the upper limit of what one can achieve on a stock swingarm zx12 in terms of 60 ft? How deep in the 1.5s?? 1.4s!?!?!??!
I'm at 1.61 now but feel there is some high 1.5s in it from ME, with a little more practice.
Stock swingarm, no wheelie bars, whatever gearing/motor set-up.
Just curious....
Thanks

Depends on how good you are with your clutch lever...I'm sure there are some racers here that can get in the low 1.40's...You have a lockup or no????Way to go...

Chad has been some mid 1.50's on my stock arm 12, had an extra few pounds on the front though. He was running 9.20's at Bristol (in the heat of the summer) which is at 1600 feet elevation.
I read your other post Ali...........you're doing great!

Thanks Dan. I like hearing what your boys accomplish because they are lightweight riders that have skill....gives me something to shoot for!

Not exactly the same bike but Smokin has pulled 1.51's on his 14 at stock wheelbase.

Smokin comes by the name honestly!!!
Chad usually ran high 1.40's on his 600...............oh yeah, there was 50 pounds on the front to make his weight legal. Nothing like hearing a small bike leave on the rev-limiter.
I think Ryan usually had mid 1.40's on his 600. He was the best I've ever seen.
