I would like to race at the track and also race on the streets at times, I have been wanting the PC3 but a friend of mine told me the stand alone would be better and is better than a piggy back, Just trying to pick which would be the best.

The effort to set up a stand alone system is huge. Unless Motec has a plug and play harness, expect to pay A LOT of money.
I did this with EFI technologies ECU with an entire new harness and basically wasted a bunch of money. (Although I was going carbs to EFI)
Modern EFI's are so sophisticated, I'd bet in 2007 they are faster than Motec system.
Is this a street bike that needs lights speedo gear indicator etc. Then go PC.
Or a stripped down drag bike with a tach and shift light?
