Looking for MADMIKE or battery expert
Mike, did interstate come up with a replacement battery
for the zx12. More power would be nice.
Any other recommendations.
Include where and how much if possible.

hottrod,
I am certainly no substitute Mad Mike the battery expert, but I am running a fasbygast battery in my 12. It costs about $110??? and will fit in the 12's well hidden battery compartment, although you have to do a bit of minor tweaking to get it in.
I have a 1361 which was having problems turning over when the bike was good n' hot, say after 3-4 back to back passes on a hot day. Since the FBG battery was installed I have had NO problems starting.

Well we carry the OEM battery for that one, and if you go into the store in CR, you can ask for the A605 hawker energy battery, and it is the same thing, but I can honestly say that I have not had any problems with starting my 1361 with the Interstate Stock Size battery, I do not do back to back runs though,I was working on the next size up Interstate Battery, but I have not had any problems so I did not change my battery box to hold the larger battery.. but I am still planning on doing that sometime just havent got to it yet.

near future i thought i would get ahead of the demand curve for once.
