May 19, IDBA, Shreveport??????

Who's going? MadMike? Krexxen? Others??

I know nothing about IDBA or Red River Raceway but Shreveport is within striking distance of Houston, so I am considering taking my trailer queen to RRR on the 19th.

Who can fill me in on this event???

Yes I will Definatly Be there(God willing of course)It is an IDBA event, on sunday only if you come early for saturday(like me) you can race in their regular bike program on saturday evening, Ive been to Red River, but have never raced on it, seems to be a very nice track. all the information is on the idbaracing.com and I would suggest to run the street et and the pro et no box classes, that way you get a bunch of runs, there are buy backs also for 1st round loosers. come on guys anyone close should come down and we can all have a blast together!! do a little partying on sat night!!

OK Mike, sounds great! I will come up from space city on early Sat. I worry about my bike on Sat nite (open trailer) but I'll figure something out.

However, what is this "ProET-no box" business??? girls have been racing for years now????

I'd be there in a minute if our big ZRX ride in Georgia wasn't the same weekend. I've raced in the last couple IDBA races there and have had lots of fun. I'm sure you'll recognize lots of folks from the shootout, Karl, specially those Lousiana boyz. It is a pretty nice track. Usually a nice tailwind very similar to Baytown. Probably won't be able to make the next shootout race either thanks to my good job....No vacation during outages!

Well, heck!! I'll be there!! Only about 45 min from my house. I usually T & T there on Friday nites. Lots of stuff to do in S'Port. Track is AWESOME! Professional crew there when IDBA runs. Only bad thing I can think of is spectators park in dirt outside (Bikes by the gate!!). Oh, and the water in the bathrooms is BROWN...so don't freak out when ya use it. hehe If you need help finding any info or whatever....shoot me an email arkawachan@yahoo.com I'll c ya there

I am planning on arriving in time for Sat races, and doing Sun, then maybe staying Sub nite and heading back to Houston on Mon if the races go late on Sun nite. It would help to stack my bike in tr trailer, thanks much.

safe4now,
you bet lunch or dinner, TFA has rules about keeping our race-weight up to its stout standards!

Safe4now I don't know how you are coming from Dallas, but I am assuming you will go up I-30 to Texarkana, then take HWY 71 S toward S'Port. You can't miss the signs, cause the track is only a couple of miles off the main road and 15 or so miles N of S'Port in a town called Gilliam. Go to www.redriverraceway.net and look at the site. As far as places to eat, tell me what you like and I will take all of you there. I LOVE to eat, even though I'm a skinny bastard!

MM and Entropy.... MM, if you don't have the room for Entropy's bike, I can run his bike up to my house when I go home and then bring it back the next day or whatever he needs.
When I went to Dallas a few years ago, I just rented a room on the bottom floor and pulled my bike in for the night. I still have the pic of our hotel room with two bikes wedged between the TV and the bed!
Email me and I will give you my # if you need anything. I can go check out some hotels, get you any info you need, etc... C ya there

Safe4now, what was I thinking? You will come up "I-20" STRAIGHT to S'Port and then take I-220N bypass. Then, take the Hwy 71N exit and go to Hwy 2 (about 18 miles), take a right, go to the RR sign, take a right and you will be about 2 miles from the gate. Can't miss it....

Mad Mike is an awesome rider!! Earlier tonight he won second on a loaner bike that he never rode until today!!
Way to represent!!
Now in the morning, let's see what we are going to do in the IDBA classes. Entropy was spinning his bike all over the place. I wonder what it would do it he'd let Team Skinny Ass (Me....hint, hint) ride it tomorrow? That 12 has some power!!
I hope some of you that are close can come see us tomorrow.

Kawachan,
VERY good to meet you, Mike, Cristina, and King Chad. i don't know where you get all yer energy; perhaps from the Oberto's beef jerky??? You ride the hell out of yr bike, which is pretty fast for being a red one

Thx for the hospitality!!! Come down to Houston for one of the Texas Shootouts and we can return the favor!!

Karl, That is just my Southern hopsitality seeping through. I will see if I can bring a couple of the Posse down to Houston with me. I am sure my buddy on the stock-piped Busa will go with me. Hopefully, my bike will be a lil faster (might have to paint it GREEN!!) so I can be as fast as the other TFA guys there. Where can I find a schedule for the races there??

Charles,
this link will give the Shootout details: http://www.txshootout.com/

Usually when some ZX12 owner is trying to make their bike faster, the first thing they do is assure that it is green, but yr red one is fast enough!!!
