I've heard that strip is pretty sketchy - not too safe? Never been there myself.

Yes Dean the track is not great ....Very short shut down ....Not much hook .....and the list goes on ...I would not try it on your Turbo ZRX .... It's just a place to have some fun for the day and much better than hanging out on main street Daytona with a bunch HDs drinking beer ...LOL....

Anything over 130 and you have issues stopping. It is not just the length being short, but the surface is old and loose. I have actually slide my front tire trying to stop and went into the sand out the back. That was when I called it a day.

Checked it out last year and the track was very sketchy didn't even take my bike off the trailer. But it o.k. for a street bike just to have some fun. Very loose rules they had some atv's running and some guys were running in T shirts......

Went this year and couldn't resist racing. The track was still the same, but I had alot of fun beating folks.

Yes, but that is where the Sand is Also Maxton does have 1 other thing in Common, they are both WII Air strips attached to a newer Airport!

I went Sunday...
Was NOT fun stopping (150MPH on all out runs) but I made it throught the day OK...
Got beat by a couple of spraying Bbusas but I lost to them mostly because they left on the SECOND YELLOW...cheatin ass sissys...
Beat other Bbusas a ZX12 and other slower bikes...

Why did you go all out at that place? I really don't know how you stopped at 150MPH bouncing and everything. Glad you didn't crash........wish I would have known you were around, I would have beat you too!!!
