re-useable clutch cover, oil pan gaskets

Thanks to MadMike, I learned that Schnitz carries aluminum, rubber coated clutch cover and oil pan gaskets made by Cometic.

I tried the clutch cover one and it seals perfectly. This oughta make playing with my lock-up a bit simpler. got a couple oil pan gaskets on the way.

From Schnitz on-line catalog:
Gaskets, Engine Covers, Kawasaki ZX-12 - Complete Listing
2000-2005

Item No. Description Amount Qty.
OP149032AFM Gasket, Oil Pan, Kawasaki ZX-12 00-05 - Cometic $14.45 View Picture
EC670302AFM Gasket, Clutch Cover, Kawasaki ZX-12 00-05 - Cometic $8.95

BIG Thumbs up to MM!

Because of how your cover was set up, I have 2 gaskets together and put a little oil on them and no leak or stick!

exactly!

cleaning the surfaces after removal of the oil pan is 10X the PITA that R&R is.

A gasket which seals but does not stick is nirvana.

I've been using one one my clutch cover for 2 years - still works. I have one on the oilpan and timing cover too. Cometic will make one for any gasket they have a die for. Money well spent. -Dean

I have re-used the stockers many times also with no problem...
I remember when Dean got his C-Cover gask made

Great to know they are an InStock part now though

Rick we know you secretly completely disassemble and polish your entire bike, and replace the clutch before every race. And we all know it's a 1427 stroker in there too.

Moving up from a T04B S-trim with a stage 1 T3 turbine wheel, to a T04E 50 trim, and a stage 3 wheel. Not a huge jump, but it should bring down my intake temps and reduce backpressure a fair bit. Also a few other things, mostly small changes that will hopefully add up. We shall see when it goes on the SM2W dyno in the next few weeks.

I had to Google enzyte -- dude what are doing to yourself? :P
