n20 tune,b/p is decent
i have been stepping up my n20 setup for the last 6 weeks or so,i started off very conservativly with a .024 jet,-1 degree timing from 7500 up (spraying at 8 k) and at a minimum i added +4 to my n/a map from 7 k up,i should also mention i am currently using a modded stock exhaust and bmc race filters, current jet is .032,temps have been high 30's to mid 40's,i (incorrectly) assumed that bottle pressure was pretty low,and i was pretty rich, the way the bike hit with a full bottle and .032 jet made me suspect that enguine and exhaust heat were raising b/p significantly (the bottle is mounted on the swingarm)
earlier this week i mounted a digital pressure gauge,my bike is kept in my attached but unheated garage,1.25 lb bottle was not quite full,3 or 4 short hits,at start up b/p was 511 lbs,by the 2 mile mark it was 600 lbs,at 4 miles it was 700 lbs,at 7 miles when i got home it was 799 lbs,IT WAS 28 DEGREES OUT,after a longer ride the bottle feels warmer to the touch, then it did after todays short ride, almost afraid to think how high the b/p may be going
i know i need to add fuel and or pull more timing, here is a sample of my maps
with the choked exhaust,i was thinking i should pull more timing out
slip on map current map next ?
