FINALLY, after toooooo much end of year travel, i got back in the garage to mount the block, and use those "cool ring compressors".

They worked like a charm on the 2 middle pistons, but were a PITA on the 2 outside ones. Had to cut the bands down about 7/8", and even then the handles made the job a pain. My #2 Son & I did get the block on, but next time I'm going to get a simpler solution.
