Sept 30, the day before the Prostar race. Should be cool weather. $100 / bike, all day test-n-tune, with the other Prostar racers. I went to a pre-race TNT before the World Finals a couple years ago, and there weren't many bikes, you could roll up and make passes pretty much at will. I can't imagine Memphis will be any more crowded.

I'm psyched. I wish it would stop rainging here, so I could get some testing in RRRRRRR..

I can relate; but rain isn't stopping me; a new set of custom pistons is. Noonan is doing some tweaks; GREAT guy, I wouldn't deal with anyone else on pistons.

I WILL be ready with some fresh NA hp on Sept 30 at Memphis, yep!

Never had any luck with High compression motors and long life.
Low compression and SPRAY when you need it.
Ride all day even in traffic.

I'm in for memphis of 9/30.

Dean;
spray is in the future, not too far.
i have a Stealth kit in the garage, and want to buy the associated electronics needed to get my fat ole ass down the track.

make me a list of what I need for the "spare no (warranted) expense" set up, and i'll buy em.

I'm NOT looking to gold plate it, just want the optimum progressive box and box(es) which will help protect the motor. Any suggestions?

Hey Karl...With all the money you spent already, why not get yourself another 12 say an '04 left over or an '05 make it a 60" with a pipe, slammed, 16-47...That way you can still make passes after your Big Motor 12 craps out on ya...

Just my .02 cents

Karl, I think a timing retard box and 5-dial progressive controller from Schnitz would be enough for anybody. Run it with a WOT switch and go crazy.

In between rain showers I spun my way to an 8.80 & 8.78 at 170+ on Friday night at Valdosta before my oil guage line split. Felt good to make some passes, I think I'm getting closer to a clutch tuneup.

Did you figure out what happened in Maryland?

Dean,
the ign retard switch berg was selling? that one?

170+! you are ROCKING!!! oil line split??? hmmmmmm....

The rod went is the one which iS ADJACENT TO (fukken caps lok) the drive gear; remember it had slag in it... BUT both #1 and #4 piston bosses were rubbing on the sm end of the rods due to the offset block. Thought is that those rods are side loaded (for sure) and that the loading interfers with oil distribution on the big end of the rod. J Noonan is fixing it

Here's the retard box;

http://secure.cartsvr.net/catalogs/catalog.asp?prodid=1714003&showprevnext=1

And controller;

http://secure.cartsvr.net/catalogs/catalog.asp?prodid=311416&showprevnext=1

I also like the Zukinut DNOC, but it has no ability to delay after activate input, which I like. Also the Schintz box has a pos or neg output for your retard.

The oil line was a plastic compression type, I think it gets abraded over time and blows when pumped over 100psi. I'm getting a braided line this time. Hopefully by Wed TNT.

This may be a Moot question, but Dan lives in Tennessee and there is a track near his house that he and his sons play at. Is this the one at "Memphis"? If it is, then that is a good place for everyone to meet because it is truly centrally located.
