Suspension setting for drag racing

Hello all. New to site but you guys look very impressive. I have a ZX10 that is lowered and strapped stock wheelbase. I was wondering what changes should be made to get my suspension close. I know each track is different but i am kinda in the dark about changing anything to make it hook better. I've only manage low 1.70's 60 foot and know that the ET shows how new i am to this. Thanks.

I'm not sure how much adjustability there is with the stock suspension, but generally soft compression and stiff rebound is best for launching. Dog bones will get you lower, and I suggest ditching the slip on for a full system, swingarm extensions, and a dry kit.

Welcome to the board,
Dean

I'm gonna try to keep the wheelbase stock for now. But i do have it lowered with dogbones and a strap. On those suspension settings is there anything i should try to do with the front? Or should i just mess with the back only??

I had my front forks and rear Ohlins done by GMD.

Of course they screwed up the forks by only lowering an inch (I wanted a 4" drop), but that will be resolved soon. I have another set that I lowered 3" and it works good for a light rider.

Im not fond of the strap at all since there is no rebound function left in the forks once its fastened. Dont take much to slam through the suspension stroke and bottom out which could lead to the front tire loosing traction.
