Commerce 1/4 mi Drag Racing
I made a trip out to Commerce on Friday night, and let me say that I was IMPRESSED. Not only with the facilities, but the riders there were significantly faster than I've seen at most tracks for a typical Friday night TNT.
Out of 8 or so bikes that showed, 6 were mid to low 9s. There was a stock wheelbase hayabusa running 9.ohs all night at 152-154, that's right, STOCK wheelbase. Mostly a busa crowd, but there was a pimp chromed 6 over silver 12 running 9.40s. At least half of the bikes were sub 9.5.
Seemed pretty well organized, one surprise was the tech inspection, 9-second bikes with riders wearing JEANS and tennis shoes. Crazy.
Should be a fun season at my new local track.

Prostar coming there in the next few weeks. Plan on making the trip.
You will really like the South GA facility too.

really suprised commerce usually very tight on leathers under 10 sec

Bergie did you make the valdosta race ? I was there Sat & Sun. I'll be in Commerce too. Hope to meet a couple of you guys from tha board.
