Thanks Entropy....I'm blushing!!! I am very happy to help and believe me I have my own questions to ask...I'm just paying for them ahead of time. Also I'm still recovering from knee surgery, so I have lots of time on my hands.

We are so snow bound right now...-25 Degrees C and snowing.

The nice thing is that despite the cold, I can heat the garage and get out there and fab up some really cool stuff and work on the bikes, etc...it's just a lot slower right now because of the knee.

CR:
I also had ACL replacement. Surgery was at the end of October, but I am still getting back up to speed. As long as I can get on the bike in the spring, I am a happy guy.

How long did it take for you to get back to normal after the surgery? Where did they harvest the ligament from? My surgeon took a section of the Patellar tendon and turned it into a ligament to replace the torn ACL. It sounds like butchery to me, but it seems to have worked.....although I am far from back to normal. I am quite proud though, I can almost walk down stairs normally. It doesn't seem like a big deal, but it really sucks when you have use the handrail like a 80 year old man for fear of falling on your face.

The nice thing about the time off has been the opportunity to teach myself a number of skills including learning CAD design programs, and business knowledge......oh yeah, and how to surf the net for hours per day while wearing a leg brace.
