you really have to look at what the weight savings is total and how that will effect everything. also how much the cost is? I know some of the stuff that swft bought was just as heavy as stock, but there is stuff that is a lot lighter! if you have the extra money to burn get some carbon fiber stuff and it will rock.

Just remember that without a headlight you'll be disqualified from most Street classes and even some pro classes that require headlight and taillight.

Well my stuff is all ratty any ways plus this stuff is on ebay real cheap like 200.00 for all of it. As far as the street class goes its just gotta be dot legal around here. That means lil projector light and led tail will pass. Seen it several times. Sure i could loose some weight as well. That im working on done lost 10lbs there. thanks guys

catalyst composites has some nice stuff for the Gixxers. (and 12s too)

If you're not gonna ride on the street much.. you could save about 5lbs over all. You'll have to buy the Dzus type fasteners and they run about $8 each. Makes taking the bodywork off a 2 min affair.

Plumbing a headlight and tail is easy.

Mine was quite a bit lighter but since OPP version of clear coat vs everybody's is quite different ( zero clear coat) it took five coats of clear and still needs some wet sanding and another coat in some spots. So in the end, saved prolly nothing.

My Sebimoto tail is not 100% cf but comes with clear coat and was a little over a 1lb lighter.

Catylist has some nice stuff.

I'm sure Patrick from OPP racing will chime in and if you do Patrick i'm still waiting for the $100 check you owe me and I asked you to send me in that Zx-10 post. Since its been what a 16 months now for you to get the cf fairing brackets.

If you need a reminder I think you know where to find it in the Zx-10 forum post on OPP Racing
