HOW CAN YOU BE FORGETTING THE FITCH FUEL CATALYST!!!!!
Do you always check the tension on your chain? Keep it real clean and well lubed? Front tire pressure not low? Lightweight synth. oil? Rear Tire alignment? Crankcase ventilation?
.....and the yet to be infamous throttle body stacks!!
better stop there, don't want to divulge all the secrets!!

How about removing the "Resonator tubes"or whatever they really are,and pull the filters or modify them, then there's the tps adjustment..

If you are running the stock pistons, you can remove the block shim for about a half point bump in compression from 12.2 to 12.8 to one.
Wraping the pipe is worth a few hp.
Keep the cranking compression up by selecting "good" cam timing. I'm not so shure you dragracers want 105/100.
I think moore R&D is needed in the cam timing department.
105/100 is good for power above 10,800 rpm. (top speed runs)
How many of you people had "crap" behind your intake valves?

How much work is involved in removing the block shim.
Do you have to remove the head, is there a way to loose the bolts and work it out.

You must remove the head and lift the block an inch or so.
Snip the shim and remove it. You must use a SMALL amount of case sealer after cleaning the surfaces with clean rags and brake cleaner.
The cams MUST be retimed and the intake valve to piston clearances checked carefully. Start the intake cam at 106 CL and move towards 103 CL untill you get to .035" piston to valve clearance. This will be at about 104 CL.

Rember that if you have a full Ti, pipe, DO NOT Wrap the header!! it will become brittle from the heat!

I know one thing that worked on mine, when the 1270 was in,the cams d'greed(105,100),we also had a "thin"head gasket,(strait from my buddies machine shop)then we adv.timing from 0 to 2.5,then to 5 degrees, lost power, then cut media only out of air filters, then boom!-instant Hp,first time my bike broke 190hp,(193hp) on b32 gas, somehow, advances in timing only produced gains when filters were gutted or out, yes,I did remove the resonators and taped off the holes,it sounded a lot better too-but once I started spraying it with the cams degreed,it never dynoed in the 190's again, but also retarded timing below stock, that would explain for the power drop,my tps was also set,and yes, better throttle response, and I will say,the bike with all these mods had the most agressive lope you have ever heard come from a 12,it would go from 400 rpms to 1400 rpms with half lope between-fuckin gave me the stiffest wood.

When you put that extended arm on you will need a longer chain. Put a non O-ring chain on it. Good for a couple of ponies!
