TFA and 1361 get some good weather!

The weather was as good as it ever gets yesterday in Houston, and my 1361 was running well. Only made 9 passes all day because of the junior dragsters, but they saved me from hot lapping so my clutch is still good

Anyway, I am VERY happy with the results, even tho I am still being a pussy with the throttle; just can't seem to make that damn right hand go WOT out of the hole.

Here's the quickest pass, my personal best :

RT .497 (goddamn red light)
60' 1.573
330' 3.974
1/8 5.946
mph 124.60
1000' 7.660
1/4 9.122
mph 154.21 yep, there was a little tail wind, he he

I was able to get a little consistency in other passes with 9.161, 9.162, 9.165, 9.187, but most happy with some good (for me) 60's: 1.562, 1.573, 1.547, 1.532

Now I am sure there is a 9.0 waiting for me one of these days

LOVE that 1361, and Orient Express is setting up a Penske shock for my fat ass, so that ought to help in a couple of weeks

Mike,
I haven't tried yr map yet, I am saving it as my secret weapon!!! I am working on technique, so that I can be consistent at whatever ET my current set up will give me. I'll mount the Penske in a couple weeks, work on achieving optimum settings, and try to master the "snap & pin" technique.

THEN, I will try yr map, then Nutec (got two 5 gal cans in my garage), then if all else fails to get me 8.9999999, I will drop in the Fitch Catalyst!

Excellent work TFA. Wish I could see a 12R making a 9.1 run some day.

About that Nutec,....you know it has a limited life right? It really needs to be in a super, air-tight container to be held very long.

....and I'm sure you know not to let it sit in the bike overnight......but for others who are reading this.....WORD! hehehe
