Clutch

Although would be using the 10r 90% for street riding would do the occassional drag meet, was after some recommendations for clutch replacement, would it be really needed? would stiffer springs suffice? want to retain the slipper clutch.

Just leave it the way it is, and when you do need a new clutch get the OEM stuff - same exact setup from factory...
